FlexArm Hydraulic Tapping Machines can also be used to chamfer, countersink and drill soft materials. The four-bar linkage of the articulated arm allows the machine to maintain perpendicularity to the workbench. A multi-position head is also available for vertical and horizontal tapping. All units have a power supply that can be connected to 220 volt, 3 phase or 480 volt, 3 phase.

The hydraulic motor turns the tap with high torque and the adjustable RPM provides maximum tap life. Various models are available with tap capacities up to 2". The quick-change chuck allows the tap size to be changed in 3 to 5 seconds. Torque-style tap adapters, inserted in the chuck, have built-in safety clutches to avoid tap breakage in blind holes.
